This time, our sales team went on a business trip to Korea. Korean cuisine is very popular in Japan and has now spread widely across the world.
During the trip, I had the chance to try a traditional Korean royal court dish called Gujeolpan for the first time. It features thin, yellow crepes made from wheat flour placed in the center of a tray, surrounded by a variety of colorful fillings that you wrap and eat together.
We also enjoyed dining at Hanmiok, where meat is grilled over an open flame while jjigae (Korean stew) is simmered at the same time — a combination that was incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
The Gangnam area, where we stayed, was filled with a wide range of restaurants and had a vibrant, modern atmosphere. It was truly an attractive and dynamic city.
